New Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Wish Upon a Star


There's a new challenge today on the Fantasy Stampers Challenge blog and this time our theme is 'wish upon a star' - we want to a star included in your creation.  Please remember we're a stamping only challenge - no digi stamps are allowed.  All the details about the challenge are here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used one of my favourite Christmas stamps from LC Designs - it's called 'Star of Wonder' and you can find it here on their website.  I've coloured the stamped image with Promarkers and added a sentiment from LC Designs which you can find here.

The paper I've used is from Dovecraft and I've added some silver paper from Craft Creations.

New from Imagine That Digis - Mermaid on Rock


The wonderfully talented Kris from Imagine That Digis has come up with some more great new releases - two sets with a mermaid theme.

Today I'm showcasing one of the sets called 'Mermaid on Rock' which you can find here in the Imagine That shop - here's what you get in the set:


I've coloured the main image with Promarkers and then used one of the sentiments from the set.  My backing paper is actually from a Christmas pad by First Edition but I thought the colours and the little touch of silver was perfect for the mermaid.  I've layered the whole thing with silver paper from Craft Creations.

I've made a very CAS card using punched snowflakes and a sentiment from Uninko.  I added some silver pearls to the middle of each of the punched snowflakes and layered the white panel with the same paper I used for punching.

I'm sharing another of the cards I designed for my recent LC Designs class.  I used the 'Man Squares' stamp set which is here on the LC Designs stamp set - each of the squares in the set is separate so you can use them in anu combination you want.  I've used two of them and decoupaged them adding dimension to the middle of the radio and the tie.  I repeat stamped the 'Happy Birthday' across the card.  The paper I used is from Craft Creations.

I'm sharing another of the cards I designed for my LC Designs class last weekend.  The base card is one of the Elegant Rectangle Landscape cards from LC Designs here on the website.  I dry embossed the front of the card using a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  

The main image and sentiment are from the 'Wavy Wedding' outline sticker sheet from LC designs here.  The shimmer is from some of the Sparkle Glitter Sheet from LC Designs which is here.  I finished the card with some little white pearls.

LC Designs Class - Wavy Beach Huts Card

 
A big thank you to everyone who came to my LC Designs class on Saturday morning this past weekend.  It was a lovely morning - lovely to see some new faces as well as all our regulars!
 
The classes are held in Irby here on the Wirral and everything you need is provided.  We have more classes coming up in July - two different classes: one in the morning and one in the afternoon so you can either come to one or both.  All the booking details are here on the website.

New Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Hip to Be Square


It was my turn to choose the theme for today's new challenge on the Ruby's Rainbow Challenge Blog and I've chosen 'hip to be square'.  The base of your card should be square but after that you can whatever shapes you want to.  All the details about the challenge can be found here on the blog.

My card is one I designed for the little craft club I help to run - I'd been asked for a sympathy card and this is what I came up with.

I used a Memory Box die called 'Perky Poppies' and die cut this in black and red paper.  I then inlaid the red pieces in to the black outline and matted them on to white card with layers of red and black paper.  The sentiment is a stamp from Visible Image.

Imagine That Challenge Reminder - Tic Tac Toe


Today I'm sharing the card I made as part of the challenge reminder post on the Imagine That Creative Playground Blog.  We've got a tic tac toe board for you to work with this month:

As well as the digi stamp and sentiments, you also get three digi papers in the set and I've one of them (the patchwork set) on my card.
